1. Introduction (簡介)

MSync4U ("we", "us", or "our") is a browser extension developed by PENG, Cheng-Hui designed to synchronize your bookmarks across different browsers. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

2. Information We Collect (我們收集的資訊)

MSync4U collects and processes the following types of data solely for the purpose of functionality:

    Bookmarks Data: Titles, URLs, and folder structures of your browser bookmarks.

    Google Account Information: Your email address and unique Google User ID. This is used strictly for authentication and to identify your backup file on your own Google Drive.

    Technical Logs: Local error logs (stored only on your device) to help troubleshoot synchronization issues.

MSync4U 僅為了功能運作之目的，收集並處理以下類型的資料：

    書籤資料：您瀏覽器書籤的標題、網址及資料夾結構。

We do NOT collect:

    Browsing history (瀏覽紀錄)

3. How We Use Your Information (我們如何使用您的資訊)

We use the collected information for the following purposes only:

    Synchronization: To upload your encrypted bookmarks to your personal Google Drive and download them to other devices authorized by you.

    Authentication: To connect to the Google Drive API using OAuth 2.0 protocol.

4. Data Storage and Security (資料儲存與安全性)

Your privacy is our top priority. We have implemented a "Client-Side Encryption" architecture:

    Local Encryption: All bookmarks are encrypted using the AES-GCM algorithm locally on your device before being uploaded to Google Drive.

    Key Management: The decryption key is derived from your custom password or unique account ID and is never sent to us or any third-party servers.

    Google Drive Storage: Your encrypted data is stored in a dedicated file (MSync4U_Data/msync4u_data_v1.json) within your own Google Drive. We (the developer) do not have access to your decryption keys or your raw bookmark data.

您的隱私是我們的首要任務。我們實作了**「用戶端加密」**架構：

    本地加密：所有書籤在傳送至 Google Drive 之前，都會在您的裝置上使用 AES-GCM 演算法進行加密。

5. Third-Party Services (第三方服務)

MSync4U uses Google Drive API to provide storage services. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside parties.

6. User Control and Data Deletion (使用者控制與資料刪除)

You have full control over your data:

    Access: You can view your backed-up data directly in your Google Drive folder (MSync4U_Data).

    Deletion: You can delete your backed-up data at any time by using the "Force Upload" or "Reset" features within the extension, or by manually deleting the file in your Google Drive.

    Revoke Access: You can revoke MSync4U's access to your Google Drive at any time via your Google Account security settings.

您對您的資料擁有完全控制權：

    存取：您可以直接在您的 Google Drive 資料夾（MSync4U_Data）中查看您的備份資料。

    刪除：您可以隨時使用擴充功能中的「強制上傳」或「重置」功能刪除備份資料，或手動刪除 Google Drive 中的檔案。
