MSync4U ("we", "us", or "our") is a browser extension developed by PENG, Cheng-Hui. Inspired by the legendary Xmarks, MSync4U is designed to reclaim bookmark freedom by providing a secure, private way to synchronize your data across browsers using your own personal cloud storage. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

MSync4U collects and processes the following types of data solely for synchronization functionality:
Bookmarks Data: Titles, URLs, and folder structures of your browser bookmarks.
Cloud Service Account Information: Basic identifiers (such as Email or unique User ID) provided by your chosen cloud provider (e.g., Google Drive, with future support for OneDrive/Dropbox). This is used strictly for authentication and to identify your backup file on your own storage.
Technical Logs: Local error logs stored only on your device to help troubleshoot synchronization issues.
MSync4U 僅為了同步功能之目的，收集並處理以下類型的資料：
書籤資料：您瀏覽器書籤的標題、網址及資料夾結構。

We use the collected information for the following purposes only:
Synchronization: To upload your encrypted bookmarks to your personal cloud storage and download them to other devices authorized by you.
Authentication: To connect to cloud storage APIs using secure OAuth 2.0 protocols.

We have implemented a "Zero-Knowledge" and "Client-Side Encryption" architecture:
Local Encryption: All bookmarks are encrypted using the AES-GCM algorithm locally on your device before being uploaded.
Key Management: Decryption keys are managed locally and are never sent to our or any third-party servers.
Personal Storage: Your encrypted data is stored in a dedicated folder (e.g., MSync4U_Data) within your own cloud account. We (the developer) do not have access to your decryption keys or your raw bookmark data.
我們實作了**「零知識 (Zero-Knowledge)」與「用戶端加密」**架構：
本地加密：所有書籤在傳送至雲端之前，都會在您的裝置上使用 AES-GCM 演算法進行加密。

MSync4U's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You have full control over your data:
Access & Deletion: You can view or delete your backed-up data directly in your cloud storage folder.
Revoke Access: You can revoke MSync4U's access to your cloud account at any time via your cloud provider's security settings.

存取與刪除：您可以直接在雲端儲存資料夾中查看或刪除備份資料。
